🏈Friday September 27th is our Homecoming Pep Rally at the Wheeler County Courthouse🏈
🚶🚶♀️Students will line up outside the school at 2:20 p.m. to walk to the courthouse🚶🚶♀️
🏫After the pep rally is over, all students will walk back to school for dismissal🏫
Parents: You CAN NOT pick up your child from the courthouse, please return to the school for dismissal.

1st Six-Week Report Cards were delivered to each 7-12 student on Tuesday, September 24, 2024. If your child does not provide you with the hard copy, you may refer to the parent portal or contact the school for another copy.
📣 Pep Rally is about to begin, and PK - Jordan Espino, Kindergarten- Winter Wilson, and 1st grade Pandora McElveney are walking with Mighty for the walk-through as a reward for excellent behavior! 🏈

💛🖤 Your elementary students did an amazing job coming to school last week, eating breakfast, and making their way down to the classrooms. Beginning Monday August 19, we ask that parents drop off students at the front door and not come into the school. 🚌Wheeler ISD Bus Routes will start THIS AFTERNOON🚌
IF your child needs to ride the bus home today, please make sure you have filled out a bus form and turned it in.

If you pick-up your child from school, please pick them up from the EAST parking lot. Do not go through the Elementary pick-up line.

Please do not get out of your vehicle in the pick-up line. We will bring your child to the car as soon as they are dismissed from their teacher.
🚌 Wheeler ISD Bus Riders 🚌
Bus routes will start on Thursday August 15th in the AFTERNOON ONLY. If your child needs to ride a bus, please make sure you have filled out a bus form and turned it into the school. Students cannot ride the bus unless they have a 2024-2025 bus form turned in. All students will need to be dropped off and picked up from school on Wednesday August 14th.

If your child plans to return to Wheeler ISD this Fall, please see the district website, www.wheelerschools.net, select enrollment, and then complete registration through the Parent Portal. This will allow the registration process to go much quicker. All new students will complete the paper version.
Wheeler County 4-H is having a Clothing Drive on Tuesday August 6th from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Wheeler Agri-Life Building.
🚌Thomas R. Helton Elementary School will hold PK-6 Registration & Meet the Teachers on Thursday August 8th from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. 🏫.
📓This is a great time to come visit with your child's teachers and complete any paperwork needed for the 2024-2025 school year. 📄
🎒Feel free to bring school supplies to leave in the classroom as well during this time. ✏️
