Wheeler ISD and Community,
As most are aware, we have a track resurfacing project being completed. Please do not attempt to walk on or otherwise be in the area of the track until further notice. The final stages are being completed, and the track must "cure" for a period of time before use by the school or community members.

DID YOU SAY FOOTBALL RAFFLE!? 🏈
🔟WHO: CLASS OF 2026
🗓️WHEN: FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 15TH
📍WHERE: WHEELER FOOTBALL FIELD @ THE GAME

6-1 students read with our 1st grade! We will be doing this every Friday! 6th graders are excellent role models for reading! 1st graders took their first AR test.
First grade loved showing off their reading skills, while sixth grade loved mentoring, and seeing how far they have come since first grade!

Attention Parents: In an effort to maintain a safe environment for our students and fans at all home games; including football and basketball, Wheeler ISD is asking students and fans to comply with the following expectations. Thank you for understanding!

Thomas R. Helton Elementary has been focusing on the Keys 4 Success: Respect, Responsibility, Leadership, and Kindness. These students have shown these qualities throughout the first 3 weeks of school, and been recognized for their efforts.
Kindergarten - Jeriana Cabler and Cooper Hampton, 2nd grade - Cesar Perez, 4th grade - Ayden Watkins, and 5th grade - Camilia Guereca.
A special thanks to these football players/cheerleaders for letting them participate in the pep rally today! Jackson Graves, Barrett Meadows, Skyler Smith, Holden Holwick, Marshall McNeil, and Braden Keys. We have the best Mustangs/Lady Stangs to look up to this year!
